LIVING ROOM The spacious living room is equipped with a comfortable sofa, which can easily and quickly be converted into a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people. A large smart TV with Netflix access, a music box, and various card and board games ensure entertaining family evenings.
KITCHEN The modern, open kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer compartment, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, and numerous cooking utensils invites you to spend relaxed cooking evenings. A standard supply of tea, coffee, salt, pepper, aluminum foil, baking paper, etc. is included. The large dining room table offers enough space for up to 6 people.
BEDROOM There is a large bedroom which is equipped with a double bed. Another small bedroom is furnished with two single beds. A baby bed (without bed linen) is also provided. There is a chest of drawers and a clothing rack in each room to store clothes.
BATHROOM The practical bathroom is equipped with a shower bathtub. A hairdryer, towels, soap, and a first aid kit can also be found there.
BALCONY The small but nice balcony can be reached via the living room. With seating for 2 people, it offers a beautiful view of the greenery. Here you can end the day relaxing on warm summer evenings. There is a publicly accessible barbecue area in the outdoor area/garden of the house.
BICYCLE AND SKI CELLAR A bicycle and ski cellar are located in the basement of the house. This can be reached via the stairwell or the elevator. Bicycles, skis, snowboards, and sleds can be stored safely and dry here. Please lock the bikes anyway.
FAMILY The HILLSIDE accommodation is ideal for families due to its proximity to the Kappe adventure park and the facilities with Netflix and board games. Smoke detectors and a first aid kit are located in the apartment itself. A fire extinguisher is installed in the hallway. If you are traveling with friends or a larger family, you can additionally book the apartment HILLSIDE right next door (2-4 people). Please take a look at my accommodation page.
PETS Dogs are welcome in the HILLSIDE holiday apartment. We just ask that you state this accordingly when booking.

The HILLSIDE apartment is centrally located on Erlebnisberg Kappe. In just a few minutes' walk you can reach the summer toboggan run, the Panorama Adventure Bridge, the climbing forest, the Fly-Line, the Kappi's playground, the Kappe Express, the bike park, the adventure golf park, the "Kiss the Sky" trampoline and the VELTINS-EIS Arena.
HILLSIDE is particularly impressive because of its proximity to the “Kappe” chairlift. In the summer months, this is used by mountain bikers from the Winterberg Bike Park. In winter the chairlift is particularly popular with skiers. In addition, various slopes can be reached via the “Schneewittchen” valley station, which is only a few minutes’ walk away. The Sauerland's largest ski area is characterized by its 34 runs with a total of 27.5 kilometers of slopes.
Numerous restaurants and cafés as well as bicycle and ski rental shops are located near the accommodation.
If the weather is bad, you can relax in “The Brabander Sauna & Spa” just 1.7km away. If you want a little more action, you can let off steam in the “Monkey Island” indoor playground.
The car parking space in front of the house entrance is provided free of charge.
If you are traveling by public transport, you can take the “R28 Bad Berleburg ZOB” bus from Winterberg main station. After a 7-minute ride you reach the “VELTINS-EIS Arena” station. From there it's about a 400m walk to the apartment. Alternatively, it is 3.9km (approx. 6 minutes) by taxi from the train station to the accommodation.
The bike rental “Klante am Schneewittchenhaus” and the e-bike rental “Bike Schneider” are in the immediate vicinity.
